Type: Lucas First Version (SD13 type, limited edition, standard skin)

Lucas was part of a pair of dolls released by Volks with matching outfits by Kaori and facial sculpt and makeup designed by Kyon. His counterpart is the pale hair, skin and eyed, Chris. While very similar to the F-28 head, Lucas and Chris actually have an original head mold.

When I first saw Lucas I totally fell in love with him, but unfortunately you could only get him if you ordered him by a certain date. At that time there was no way I could afford him! Eventually, I figured that there was no way I could afford him at all, since any Lucas that I had seen after the cut off date went for huge sums on Yahoo Japan. I really wanted an SD13 boy though. I very much enjoyed the idea of having an older boy to pose alone and with my other dolls, and just overall thought they were lovely. I decided to settle on getting an FCS boy, which also has it's own advantages. (so it wouldn't be much of a settle!) Basically though I was modeling an FCS at least partially after Lucas. I didn't think I'd be able to get him for a long time though.

Since I was moving at the time, I was trying to sell off anything I didn't really really need anymore and actually ended up getting more money from that sale than I had expected!

And then the very day I started getting paypal payments from my ebay buyers..., I lucked out! Right before I was starting to seriously consider getting a FCS, a club member offered their Lucas for sale, the doll I originally wanted and had given up on! So that is how Lucas came to me! I'm so grateful to have him!

Even now, my Lucas, he is my favorite of all the SD boys ever made. I think he is so handsome.
