DO you charge for commissions?
-- Yes. My charge depends on the commission in question. Whether it is color or black and white, whether you want the original or not.... the more characters or more complicated picture means a higher price due to the amount of time it takes me to sketch, get the details right and then intricately color the image. I reserve the right to keep the original drawing unless you discuss it with me before hand.
I emailed you asking for a commission, you haven't replied... why?
I get really busy and often cannot answer email, even if its about commissions. It doesn't mean that I do not want to do your picture, it simply means I'm busy. I will try to get back to you when I can.
I've already paid you for my commission... are you done yet?
Unless I email you with the url to your picture, I am not done with your picture. This probably means I'm swamped with work. I will work on your picture as soon as I can, but my time to work on commissions is limited. You can be assured however that when I do your pic , it is when I am inspired to do so, and I will devote as much time as I think it takes to make a very lovely and quality picture for you. I prefer to do it this way instead of doing a half-way job on your pic.Trade Pics? If I draw you a picture, will you draw a picture for me for free?
No. I'd like to really, but I just dont have time. I love to get pictures though, so feel free to send me some! I just don't have time to commit to doing "return" pics. Will you do me a picture for free? You did one for so and so.
-- I do images for free for my close friends or for an artist who's work as inspired me. Unless you want to compensate me for my time, do not request that I draw your character, I just dont have time to do them. Also, making me an image doesnt mean that I'm obligated to do one for you, I just don't have time. So please, don't try to make me feel guilty becuase I wanted to make a gift for someone. If I did free pics for everyone, I'd wouldnt have time to sleep.
