This is a glorious vintage nagoya obi that is made of black shusu silk. The item has a fabulous hand sewed tsuzumi (Japanese Hand Drum) and peony embroidery motif - please enjoy its wonderful hand embroidery details with more photos! There still are basting stiches attatched to this obi, this stitches are easily removable. This is used as to keep its shape in place. The back of the item also has fabulous designs of Mt.Fuji, loyal cart, and pine tress in black. Wide part has a frayed spot in the hem and there is a small hole in it. Corners are frayed, and embroidery part has slight patinas.
