Furisode Butterfly Karinui

This Vintage `Furisode` style karinui is of very high quality silk from the Kansai area. This vintage piece is in as new condition and has been well kept in its pre-sewing state, meaning that it has never been worn. It features a baby pink silk base flowing with the spring cherry blossoms of Japan and amazingly elegant butterflies, done in embroidery . Particularly interesting is the color choices below the waist which really give this piece a strong character. Of course, this piece is all hand-worked and comes from a family that clearly understand the value of this cloth as it is in as new condition.
