My Own Magic

My Own Magic is a film about finding one's own special, and perhaps different gifts. This was my final student film at Calarts, completed in 2001. The film was honored by being accepted into the Calarts 2001 Producer's Show.

Everything on the film was done by me except the water effects and the soundtrack. (including storyboarding, character design, animation and backgrounds) I'm extremely grateful to my teachers, Kevin O'Hara and Mark Andrews, for helping me make this film. Their advice on the storyboards and the technical aspects of the animation was invaluable.

My friend Crystal helped me make the soundtrack from clips of the movie soundtrack from Shawshank Redemption, and did the gorgeous waves and splashes in the film.
