This year I worked really hard on storyboards for work! I worked on four shows this year, Camp WWE for Stoopid Buddy, and Clash-A-Rama, Disney’s Descendants Wicked World and Tarantula for Rough Draft Studios!  Clash, WWE and Tarantula all had really great acting tracts that I enjoyed doing poses for and Descendants was my first 3D storyboard job, so it was fun to learn how to do that! Also some of the episodes were almost entirely dancing which was challenging but really rewarding! You can see some videos of what I did here.

I did my first new book in a while, my Yokai Dream Coloring book! I also did two art shows this year, Catching Sakura and Spooky.

I tabled at Fanime and CTNX this year and attended Wondercon and ALA.

Next year I’d like to take a little better care of myself and continue to keep pushing to have time to do personal artwork projects!

Here’s a few of my favorite photos from this year.

I did a lot of storyboards this year that I can’t show yet but here’s a few favorite personal artworks I did this year.

My favorite was the Yokai Dream coloring book I did this year. Here’s a couple images from it below and you can see more of them on this page. I hope to do more with it in the coming year.

I did this comic about my cat.

I also did a lot of cute artwork for bags and charms and pins this year! I really enjoyed especially doing my first enamel pin designs this year.

I did this Card Captor Sakura piece for the Catching Sakura show.

This piece for the Meltdown Spooky show

And here’s a few more pieces I did this year.

I didn’t have a ton of time to make costumes this year due to other obligations but I still made some things that I really loved!

My main costume for this year was Rose Quartz from Steven Universe. I really enjoyed doing my own version of the costume and adding embellishment details that were fun for me. More photos and details on this post. Photo by Gilbert Chen.

I made a fluffy Pretty Cure costume! More details on this post.

I really enjoyed doing this yokai inspired photoshoot with my friends (more details and photos on this post!) Photo by Big White Bazooka Photography.

I finally made the ballgown bodice for my black and red Victorian gown from last year! More photos on this post.

I made a new Regency gown, but haven’t had the chance to wear it yet!

I also made several dresses for the twins this year!
Unicorn peasant dresses, more details on this post

I made us matching swiss dot dresses. More details on this post

Birthday fall dresses. More details on this post
