 2011 “Bamboo” Sketchbook

$12 !

Shipping on the books would be about $6 I think?

It’s 8.25″ × 10.75″, 40 pages, full color, perfect bound! This is the largest format book I’ve ever done. :D It’s almost like a mini-poster print book.

It contains my favorite full color fanart and original pieces from around 2009-2011 as well as all of my Kaguya-hime pieces…

… as well as several new ones that haven’t been posted online yet!

The first 100 books are numbered and signed by me with an original quick sketch in each one. If they sell well, I may do a on-demand reprinting (un-numbered, un-signed, un-sketched, etc), but there’s no guarantee, I probably will not, so if you want one, get one now! I already sold almost half of them at SDCC.

 CHARMS

$5 charm

Shipping for a charm  I think would be $3 normal mail, $6 priority. (USA) I can fit several into that package for the same price.

They come as either keychains/cellphone-charms or ball-chain necklaces. They’re about an inch to an inch and a half, depending on the design. This is my first time doing charms like this, so I hope you’ll like them! Let me know which chain type you’d like.

For the necklaces you can choose either pink or silver ball-chain (as supplies last). Both are 18″.

NOTE: There are two sizes of the kitsune and maiko charms, the larger ones shown here and ones about .5″ smaller (which you can see in the necklace/cellphone charm photo below)

I just got back from Costume College! I’ll do a post about it and Comic Con later, as I get my photos together. (Still catching up on China photos, too…)

Anyway, when I got home, these lovelies were waiting for me, my 18th century dyed-to-order silk shoes from American Duchess! Aren’t they a delicious color…? I spent a long time deliberating over which color I wanted. I ended up wanting a sherberty candy-like pink color to match a painted floral silk dress I haven’t made up yet, but I think it will match more than one of my planned dresses since I adore pink so much. AD is doing another pre-order right now for both silk and leather versions of these shoes, so go check it out!

Did you guys watch Futurama last night? It was one of the episodes that I Assistant Directed! WOOO! I’ve been waiting a lot time for it to come out so that you guys could see it and I could actually talk about it!

The title is “All the Presidents’ Heads”. It was written by Josh Weinstein and directed by Stephen Sandoval!

There’s a lot of fun stuff in this one! I did the original costume design for the crew’s past-Colonial and future-British looks, which is actually the first time I’ve done any sort of design for the show. But my director knows I dig historical fashion, so that’s what happened!  Also did the dancing in the Head Museum, Leela’s fight scene, Zoidberg’s Ministry of Silly Walks Walk, did the Queen… and put in a certain Doctor and his Tardis near a red Hoverbus. 🙂 There’s just so much stuff in this show that I’m proud of!  The script really gave us some great opportunities to put funny stuff in (like various Monty Python references, too!) You can see some more fun notes on infosphere. I think it’s pretty awesome that they spotted most of the little details we put in and the episode only came out last night.

Besides all that, it’s a great/fun time-travel episode! I hope you guys checked it out, or will!
