I really enjoy buying things for gifts (and for myself) off etsy or from artists. If you want to get things for your loved ones for the holidays, nows the time to do it!

You can also try searching a particular catagory, like “necklaces”, etc… and then adding your preferred subject matter like “Star Wars” or “Owls” :).

NOTE: Check each shops shipping/policies if you want something by Christmas. A lot of items on etsy are made to order and might not get there in time (but many will!) I have not necessarily bought from all the sellers listed here, so I can’t personally endorse any of them. Have fun!

I really didn’t think I’d win anything, but I entered my Rapunzel costume in the Spookbook.nu DIY Halloween Contest… and I won a Runner Up $100 prize to American Apparel! AWESOME! I’ve been so busy with work this month that this was definitely a pick-me-up! Thanks to everyone who helped hype my outfit and left me sweet comments!
You can see the full winners of the contest on Lookbook’s blog.

Being the dork that I am, I decided to buy Amy Pond from Doctor Who’s red dolman hoodie and I also got a long cobalt blue chiffon skirt and some tights. Hurray! Thanks Lookbook and American Apparel!
