The girls turned 4 months old on Feb 1st! We went to Huntington Gardens with our friends to see the plum blossoms and the Chinese magnolias.
We had lunch in the Chinese garden area, it was really nice to sit outside and enjoy the garden while eating! The weather was gorgeous. I really try to make it to see these particular flowers every year. They’re some of my favorites even though they bloom so fleetingly!
These plum blossoms were in the Chinese garden. The ones in the Japanese garden are already spent, sadly! If you want to see them, better go ASAP! The pink ones were already on the way out, while the white ones still looked really pretty.
Look at ALL those petals on the ground…!
The Chinese Magnolias had actually just started to be gorgeous, so you have a little more time on those if you want to see them.
Ohhhhh, so much pretty!! (And J BEAMING with Mitch — CUTE AS CAN BE!!) The girls are looking so grown-up (it’s amazing how much they change in 4 months), and I’m so glad you got to have a lovely day out with family and friends!! <3<3<3
Great photos! My parents used to have a lovely magnolia tree in their front yard. I miss seeing those beautiful large blossoms every month, and soon after the pretty petals all over our yard.
Also, your twins are so adorbs.
Thanks! I know how you feel about flowers you grew up with. I feel that way about camellias because my grandmother grew them.
How absolutely precious! Great moments captured 🙂
Thanks, Natasha!
Beautiful! Both the babies and flowers!! Huntington is such a great place to wander around. If you go back the same time every year, that will be a wonderful photo momento of the girls growing up. BTW – are they always happy and giggly? I love it! 🙂
I love going to Huntington, it’s so lovely and peaceful! ^_^ They aren’t always happy! That’s just the only time I take pictures of them, right?
Hahah! I guess in regards to not-so-happy babies I will have to pull the “Pics or it didn’t happen” card! 😀
