Girl Chewbacca Costume from Star Wars

Started 2000

Appearances: Calarts Halloween Party 2000 and Rough Draft Studios Halloween Party 2000

STATUS: Retired

It all started with a drawing my friend Angie did of all of us as crossdressing Star Wars characters.
About 2 years later, (still in college) on a whim Crisso and I made the costumes. This was one of my very first costumes and I still needed help sewing the fabric.  The hands were made more muppet/mitten like, and the bottoms were made rather bell-bottom like to cover my feet completely. The chest-belt was made out of an army belt with styrofoam silver things, with little straps glued on top of them to complete the look. I added the waist belt just for looks.

The wig is from Tartblossom, with added highlights, and my face was painted up a bit feline-like. 🙂
