GENERAL NOTES: Be sure to double check any of these before ordering FCS with either Volks, or the person you are ordering through. There may be some inaccuracies or obsolete information.
You cannot get "extra" parts of anything. (ie if you want two sets of feet, or two sets of hands, that's not possible.)
All FCS are made in Pureskin UV Protect.
NAME:
You can tell Volks the name of your new doll. This will end up on the FCS certificate.

You cannot ask for the headmold to be sanded or eyes opened more or anything like that.
EARS: ONLY available at Tenshi no Sato and LA Tenshi No Sumika. They are only available for the elf-ear heads, F29, F30 and F31.
At LA Tenshi No Sumika, you have choice of ears E-01 through E-05. (E-06 through E-08 are Tenshi no Sato ONLY (ie you can get any of the 8 at Sato))
The ears can only be blushed as urban or natural. You can't really choose the color. Drawings below thanks to Ria_Ria.
E-01: (photograph) Long straight elf ears. Natural or Urban (maroonish shading)

WIG: Many FCS wigs are available in unusual hard to get colors. To see more photos, and color swatches for wigs, see this page: wig list
Only the wigs listed below are the ones available through FCS. There are no other additional wig styles that you can get with FCS (ie, not every wig on the above wig list is available through FCS). Some of them are available outside FCS though. Something to note: if the wig that you want for your doll is a standardly available off-the-shelf wig/color combination, consider buying the wig off the shelf and ordering your doll with a FCS-only wig. That way you get to get a fun, limited wig as well as the one you want. If you really decide you don't want the FCS wig, you can always sell it, being limited it will be worth a bit more.

lots of types, you can choose any of the Zoukeimura eyes, from #GE-1 to #GE-27 in various sizes.
SD boy/girl and SD13 eyes can be ordered in 16mm, 18mm, 20mm and 22mm.
SD13 boy eyes can be ordered in 16mm, 18mm, 18/9mm, and 20mm.Other specifications for eyes:
Direction the eyes are looking: straight ahead, looking right, looking left or looking up.
Whether the eyes are glued in. (yes or no)

Positioning: You can also request how you want the eyelashes placed. You can ask for them to be normal, or angled a little more downwards, or a little more upwards.
MAKE-UP:
4 types, They are:
M-01: Natural,
M-02: Urban,
M-03: No Make-up
M-04: Order Make-up. Order Make-up is what you choose when you want to say "I want this type of eyebrows and that type of lip shape and this colour, etc". (Instead of choosing 1 or 2, in which you get a faceup basically in that predetermined style.) Volks don't do any sort of birthmarks, moles, scars, etc when doing M-04 'order makeup'.
ADDITIONAL SPECIFIC OPTIONS:
You can specify whether you want the vertical lines in the lips or not (ie painted vertical detail lines.)
You can also specify whether or not you want lipgloss. (If glossy, how glossy?)
You can specify whether, and where you want the face cheeks blushed.
If you have previous FCS, you can give them the head plate # of your other FCS and then Volks will look at both orders and try to paint the dolls so that they'll look like "family".
Do you have a specific color in mind for the eyebrows? (this will effect which wig colors the doll looks best in.) You might find it helpful to consider your favorite wig colors and then mention what color wig the doll will wear most to Volks.
What color do you want the eye-liner.
GENERAL MAKEUP NOTES: You can make your description as detailed or as vague as you want. You can even decide to not specify what color you want the eyebrows, or whether you want the lips glossy. It's up to you. You can be very specific, or you can leave it up to the artistic choice of the Volks painter.
You can ask for your doll to be painted in a certain way -- for example, 'innocent and childlike' or 'sneaky and devious'. What is the main point of your SD's image or personality? (You can give a brief description of their personality.) You can ask for your doll to be painted to look similar to a limited edition if you like -- for example, you could order a F-28 head and ask that the face be painted like Lucas. There is also a basic drawing of a blank SD head that you can illustrate on, if you place the order in person.
If you specifically like, or don't like defined lips, or soft focus lips, you can specify that.
You can submit a photo of a doll you like as an example. (Volks will never copy a doll exactly though and they may refuse to copy certain dolls, etc.)
You CANNOT ask for scars, tattoos, birthmarks or moles, etc.
Also please keep in mind that sometimes, no matter how specific you are, your doll's make-up may not turn out as you envisioned it because each Volks FCS artist has their own way of painting and their own way of interpreting your instructions.
BODY:
B-01: standard girl non-jointed torso, same as before.
B-02: small bust jointed girl torso, same as before.

B-04: standard boy non-jointed torso.
B-05: standard boy jointed torso.(another photo 2, 3)
B-06 to B-08: SD13 girl torsos with small (B-06), medium (B-07) and large bust (B-08). Note: these photos are the old SD13 body, not the new revamped one, and are not labeled properly. In this photo, B-06 is the largest bust, but in current FCS, the largest bust is B-08. But gives you a good idea of what it looks like roughly. You may want to simply ask who you are buying your FCS through to get you the "small, medium, or large" bust to avoid confusion.
SD13B-B-01: SD13 boy torso (the new Tsukasa version).Note: these photos are the old SD13 body, not the new revamped one, but gives you a good idea of what it looks like roughlyARMS:

A-01 normal type(similar the regular SD)
A-02 long type(longer 1 cm than A-01) This is the normal SD13 girl size.You can order an SD13 girl with either A-01 or A-02, but if you want them to have the same size as normal SD13 girl, order A-02. The same applies for legs. (Note: all the arm photos above are OLD FCS, but the arms are extremely similar to the new FCS equiv. Please note though that there is no A-03 slender option anymore.)
SD13B-A-01 : the only type for SD13 boy
HANDS: All SD and SD13 girl hands and feet are interchangable (instead of special SD13 girl hands.) All hands marked SD13 below are the SD13 boy hands. :)
---- SD-H-01: fingers together. This is the same as the old H-01. Michael came with these hands, and I think most of the old standard girls too?
----SD-H-02 fingers spread out. I think this is the same as the old H-02. Nono and Rio had these hands.
----SD-H-03, SD-H-05 H-03 to H-08: same as before.. see this pic.
----SD-H-09: like H-01 but the fingers are more elegant and less chubby looking. These are the default SD13 girl hands.
----SD-H-10: (a drawing of what it looks like) fingers all completely straight out and pressed together, and thumb out to the side a bit. Looks like they want to salute someone.
----SD-H-11: 'gun trigger' hands.(another photo)All fingers curled up except the trigger finger and the thumb, which look ready to hold a gun. These are the same as SD13B-H-04 (for sd13boy), but SD-H-11 is more slender, smaller version for SD girl/boy or SD13 Girl.
