Rosalie from Rose of Versailles (takarazuka style)

AJ introduced me to Rose of Versailles, and my world has not been the same since! I absolutely adore the series to the point of being obsessive, especially the takarazuka performances. This costume is a “takarazuka-ized” version of Rosalie’s casual fencing outfit. (when Oscar is teaching her how to fight.) Rosalie does appear in the takarazuka musicals, however never in this outfit… so I kind-of madeup how I thought the outfit would look if it did appear in the musicals.
The awesome Oscar in these photos is AJ. 🙂
