Another lovely tea and dance with the Jane Austen Evening! I really love attending this Regency event in Pasadena. Sorry I don’t have more photos! I forgot to charge my camera battery!
The Jane Austen Evening is held in such a beautiful building!

I made a new dress for this year’s event out of another Indian saree from my stash. This one was shocking hot pink with beautiful gold bullion trim and details. I used Laughing Moon’s new #130 Wrapping Front Gown pattern. I was inspired partially by Jane Seymour’s bright purple dress from the “play” in Austenland. Here’s me with my friend Michelle!

I was also excited to bring my “new” cupid candelabras to decorate our tea table. Part of the fun of the tea portion of the event is that people bring their own fancy tea cups and table decorations. They provide lots of delicious period inspired savory foods, sweets and teas.

I usually don’t dance much but I took the pre-event dance classes again this year and felt much more comfortable and danced a record-for-me four dances this year! Go, wallflower!

Live band!

Loren, me and Michelle.
