Doctor Who Tea Custom Fabric and Dress

Doctor Who Tea Custom Fabric and Dress

I designed this fabric on spoonflower!
The fabric is inspired by Doctor Who and has satsumas, Jammie Dodgers, pocket watches, Time Lord message cube, pudding, biscuits, and various sonic screwdrivers. 🙂
The quote is from the older Doctor Who episode “The Creature from the Pit”. The Fourth Doctor explains his victory: “Well, to be fair I did have a couple of gadgets which he probably didn’t, like a teaspoon and an open mind.”

I made a jumperskirt dress in about 3 days inspired by Emily Temple Cute and Innocent World dresses. The middle pin-tucked bust section is removable, the straps cross in the back and the back is elastic shirred. This is a jsk pattern that I drafted myself roughly based on some other dresses I had or had seen.

Please excuse quick coordinate, I just finished the dress this morning and couldn’t wait to take a picture! 🙂

on lookbook here and on DA here.
