Fresno Ani-Jam 2013

I was a Guest of Honor at Fresno Ani-Jam this past weekend. I had a lovely time. All the staff and attendees were very friendly. I really liked the geek solidarity atmosphere of the convention. If you’re near the Fresno area, you should go! I had fun giving a panel on working in animation and dressing in lolita. Thanks for asking good questions, Ani-Jammers!

Here’s a few photos from our Ani-Jam trip.

For the first morning I wore a casual outfit inspired by Makoto (Sailor Jupiter) and wore my Kuma Craft Jupiter wand necklace.

Later I changed into my Kiss the Girl Ariel and Annie wore her Snow White!

The hotel had a lovely indoor area with a waterfall!

I HAD to get a couple photos in my Ariel costume with it! 🙂 Photos by Annie.

There was a great Jack Sparrow! The next day he had a cool Mad Hatter, too!

Instead of eating in the hotel for every meal, since Annie and I had not been to Fresno before and we had a car, we found close restaurants on yelp and ate there as a little side adventure! This was gnocchi at an adorable Italian family restaurant.

And here was the best enchiladas!

I was really excited to see these lolita Avengers, Captain America and Thor! I wore my Haenuli Little Prince dress.
