Sophie from Howl’s Moving Castle

I’m a huge Miyazaki fan, however, most of his female characters,… I just couldn’t pull off their body types or costumes. However, when Howl’s Moving Castle came out, related to the character of Sophie so much, and also felt that I could do her justice.
Sophie’s outfit and hair color change slightly for various reasons throughout the movie. I’m the version from a particular part of the movie. ^_^… I won’t say more, so as not to spoil it for you. I have the full costume, down to her boots, apron, bloomers, hat, and petticoat. ^_^… (now to just get me one of those Howls!)
I really love this costume, but the best part of wearing it was tons little kids coming up to me and thinking I was the real Sophie. 🙂
