Yuuko Ichihara

I adore Yuuko and she has such a fabulous wardrobe! She wears many different kimono in the series, and so I decided to find some vintage kimono and accessories that would suit Yuuko (based on what she wears in the series).
The kimono is a furisode with a glittery fabric. It has embroidered butterflies on it. I felt that the black flowers on the kimono added a bit of a creepy air that was perfect for Yuuko, and of course Yuuko’s motif is the butterfly. The red lining and accents also suit her sexy attitude. I made a juban for underneath with red butterfly fabric as well.
The obi is a fukuro obi tied in such a way to be a fake darari (like a maiko). Yuuko’s worn an obi tied similar to this in the series (and worn furisode as well as shorter sleeved kimono). The fukuro obi is silver with gold butterflies on it. Out of the top of the obi you can see some silver charms hanging. These are official XXX HOLiC celphone charms with butterflies and moons. So silly, but it actually is my celphone in my obi! The red shigoki obi below it helps to add more of her type of flair to the outfit.
The hairclip is a silver Tibetan butterfly with red stones. The pipe is an official character product working pen that Oscar got for me in Japan. The haneri (collar) is red embroidered with white flowers with black lace added.
The shoes are geta with red straps.
