GBACG had a wonderful Game of Thrones costume theme event at the Castello Di Amarosa in Napa Valley recently! What a perfect venue for a fantasy theme like this! We had a great time and the staff were very gracious.

I had been meaning on making a gown inspired by some of Sansa’s gowns for a while and so this was the perfect event to finish it for. You can see more about how I made my gown here.

Aimee Major Steinberger is an animation artist currently working as Assistant Director on “Futurama”. She has previously worked on “The Simpsons” and various animation projects for Warner Bros. and Walt Disney Animation. Aimee wrote and illustrated a book about her trip to Japan, called, “Japan Ai: A Tall Girl’s Adventures in Japan. “ She is writes and illustrates for various Japanese fashion and manga publications. Aimee is also an award winning hobbyist costumer.

    Some areas here do share similarities to Italy! I know I had a gardening acquaintance in Italy that had similar rose choices. 🙂
