Maui Vacation Part 2

For our last couple days in Maui we stayed in a super fancy hotel in South Maui as one of those “we never do this!” sort of things. It was wonderful.

The hut nestled in there is where I had a special pregnancy massage with a view of the beach…!

When we got back to our room the room service had very carefully arranged Mitch’s toiletries (which we found very amusing…)

The next morning, my lei on our lanai.

Plumeria!

Mitch did yoga on Wailea Beach.

We spent the rest of the day in this amazing infinity pool. It was pretty much the most relaxing thing ever. It had a swim up bar/food place. You could get appetizers and smoothies and icecream sandwiches.

That evening we explored a next-door fancy hotel that had very lush gardens.

Then we had a delicious dinner at Humu.

The next morning, our last in Maui, we had breakfast on our lanai. We had such a great time!

Wow — so many beautiful images!! And I’m really glad that you guys got to pamper yourselves during this trip . . . it’s a memory to cherish for a lifetime 🙂

(I still go back to memories of my trip to Anguilla with Josh when I need stress relief — “island time” is such a special escape from the real world, and it’s some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen . . . a lifetime dream of mine had been to see water that color in person, and now I’ve done it and I want to go back someday!)

<3!

Looks like you had a wonderful trip! I love Hawaii and will be doing my second visit to Maui in December. I’m rotating islands each year, one of these days I’ll figure out which one to buy a house on! LOL!

Next time you go, check out Warren and Annabelle’s. I know, a magic show on Maui… seems cheesy but it is amazing. My husband is a magic nerd and while I was impressed (but I’m easily impressed) he said it was absolutely incredible magic.

Was this your babymoon, btw? What a wonderful pre-kids trip!

Thanks, we did! Last time actually we went to Warren and Annabelles and got to be the volunteers that sit up front, it was fun!
I have a friend that is a magician, and I was pretty impressed with the act, I didn’t catch anything (not that I’m an expert, but I’m pretty observant).

If you go to LA and have a friend who can get you in though, you should go to the Magic Castle.
    Yup, it was our babymoon.

Ooooh lucky! I want to sit up in the front but the owners told us the reserve it for newlyweds.

Oh the Magic Castle, I go far too often! And we are there for just soooooo long. I was thisclose to getting married there but finally put the kabosh on it when it would have severly limited the number of attandees. A little regretful now as it would have been far cooler!
