I really enjoyed going to Wondercon this year with my friend Annie! We just went to look at the dealer’s room, largely for artist alley and small press. Part of what I really enjoy about Wondercon lately is it feels to me like what SDCC used to be. It’s a big con but not as huge and crowded as SDCC now is. There are also lots of awesome independent artists bringing their personal comics, sketchbooks and pins and such. To me that is the most enjoyable part of going to a comic convention, finding awesome art! I didn’t take many photos but here’s a few photos of what I bought and some cute folks we saw.
Some adorable keychains and pins I bought! I love the trend lately to make enamel pins and detailed acrylic items.

Some beautiful books I bought! Song of the Sea, Spam Vol 3 by Mingjue Helen Chen and Le Petit Loup are from Stuart Ng. The Lonely Vincent Bellingham by Diana Huh.

Beautiful prints! Claire Wendling shibe family, @nidhiart Otter family, cats by @elsasketch and Polaris by Alina Chau.

Adorable child Jawas.

Super cool punk girl vest!

I found an awesome Scruffy from Futurama cosplayer! I worked on Futurama for a long time so it’s always awesome to see people cosplaying it.

Adorable vintage/retro style Sailor Jupiter!

Oooh Song of the Sea! I loved that movie!
And that Alina Chau print is soooo pretty!
Man I miss WC.
